Das Hällefors Kanot & Kajakcenter / Hostel / Vandrarhem liegt etwas außerhalb der Dorfmitte von Hällefors, ganz nahe am Fluss Svartälven einem der schönsten Paddelflüsse in Mittelschweden. Der auf 120 km Länge paddelbarem Fluß Svartälven, bietet mit seinen Nebenflüssen und Seen tolle Möglichkeiten zum Kanuwandern. Die optimale Möglichkeit um die schwedische Natur mit ihrer unberührten Landschaft und den typische Tieren zu entdecken. Übernachten können Sie am Lagerfeuer irgendwo am Ufer oder in einem Wildcamp. Es ist möglich aus einem Angebot von verschiedene Routenverläufen zu wählen, je nachdem wie lange sie unterwegs sein möchten. Zusatzausrüstung für das Leben in der freien Natur kann gemietet werden.
Das Kanucenter / Hostel liegt auch nahe am "Naturreservat Knuthöjdsmossen" und dem "Silverleden vandertrail". Somit können sie von hier aus auch Fahrrad- oder Wandertour und andere typische Skandinavische Aktivitäten unternehmen. Es stehen 40 Mountainbikes zur Verfügung welche gemietet werden können. Das Kanucenter ist auch leicht mit dem Bus und der Bahn zu erreichen. Familienbetrieb mit persönlicher Betreuung und Atmosphäre.
